Isn't ice cream a wonderful thing - guaranteed to put a smile on any kid's face. Well, 95% of the times anyway!!

Wow, I like this! Like you say with the Ice-cream thing, but what a smile!!!!! And this shot is so complex almost abstract.... the half finished ice-cream, the weird reflections and distortions, the crutch and the back ground is so reminiscent of England in the 1960's. I really like this! Was it from one photo or did you use photoshop?

Hi there - it's me again. Finally catching up on some messages. Yes, this was just one single pic - with all the communication between us about photoshop, you now know I'm no good at this software. This still was taken in the UK (but not in the 60's, I hasten to add!!), and the young man with the ice-cream is in fact challenged - that's why you see the crutch beside him.

I took a bunch of differently-abled rural kids to London and they had the time of their lives. It was the first time they had sat on a train, plane, and visited a foreign country. The ice-cream was yet another treat for him - hence the magical smile....

Thank you for writing in....:-)

Wow, good for you and the expression on the lad's face says it all! You really did take him on a trip of a life time. I hope he is doing well now and if you still see him please tell him how much I like his photograph! :)
